An attractive stopover for motorcycle enthusiasts

Which motorbike enthusiast wouldn’t love the adventurous pass and mountain roads in the vicinity of our accommodation in Vinschgau? Our Hotel Stern is located only about 30 km from the Reschen Pass and is the ideal starting point for unforgettable tours in the border triangle of Italy, Austria and Switzerland.

Pass roads with hairpin bends wind between imposing mountain massifs while leisurely tours offer varying degrees of difficulty. Around our accommodation in the Vinschgau valley there is the ideal environment for motorcyclists - with great views included.

For a very special excursion experience, we recommend taking a motorbike tour to the nearby Stilfserjoch pass! The Queen of the Alpine Roads, as the pass road is also called, connects the towns of Prad in Vinschgau and Bormio in Veltlin in Lombardy. At 2,757 metres above sea level, the Stilfserjoch is the highest mountain pass in Italy and the second highest paved mountain pass in the entire Alpine region. Open to traffic from the end of May to the beginning of November, depending on the weather, the pass road is at the top of the list for motorcyclists and traditional bikers to visit. Let's go on a 48-hairpin bend adventure!

Caught out by the rain? Thanks to our jacket dryer, you are to be ideally equipped for your next ride. Where do you want to safely store your motorcycle? Our accommodation in Vinschgau guarantees you a covered parking space for your motorcycle. You can get motorcycle tour tips at any time on top of that.
